Production Tolerance of ASTM A213 Steel Pipe

ASTM A213 specifies Minimum wall thickness, namely, there is no mill under tolerance, only over tolerance, unless specified as average wall thickness is required, permissible variations from the specified average wall thickness shall be +/-10 % of the specified average wall thickness for cold-formed tubes.

Seamless tubing furnished to this specification shall conform to the requirements of specification ASTM A1016/A1016M, including any supplementary requirements.
